About Federation
Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation was established in 2013.
In 2014, ATF became part of the World Triathlon Union.
The report-election conference of the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation was held on September 4, 2015. Azer Maharramov was elected president of the National Olympic Committee at a conference held in the administration building.

Elchin Aliyev was elected President of the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation at a general meeting held on December 21, 2021 in the administrative building of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Our team achieved its first great success in 2015 in Baku. Rostislav Pevtsov won a bronze medal at the first European Games.
Rostislav then received a license for the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Pevtsov won the nomination of the best male athlete of the European Triathlon in 2019.
